Ideas for Insect and Arachnid races in WarHammer 40K

Sketches for WarHammer 40K – Orks and Grots (goblins) I jotted down ideas for fleshing out a break-away Grot faction, The Bankers Guild – their only premise is to make money (market makers) and profit from legitimate financial dealings(The Galactic Charter) to more extreme and immoral methods, war for profit (sell weapons and armies to clients) sell extortionate medicines to suffering worlds and seize and annex property due to late and outstanding fees. To the most despicable and darker black markets using embezzlement, fraud, kidnapping and ransom, to raising a private army to collect outstanding debts (To ‘collect’ being an ambiguous term receiving payment using threats and warnings to armed force) The Collector approaches the subject, “I’m here to collect, thats my final warning.” He also charges an appearance fee.

The Honest Politician, staring the hero MP and right honourable Harry Charmer. Can you climb the greasy pole? From a lowly backbench MP to the the heights of government, possibly Prime Minister. A past student in Politics and government and watching the current circus on show – I was eager to stick the knife in and begin the scandal. My first attempt at a pixel art piece for the mobile game industry. A mobile game idea, that has been lingering around in my sketchbooks for a very, very long time.

The new Chameleon Swing Icon for the game with some ongoing 3D Cyclops sculpting

Two recent updates this weekend, creating the new Chameleon Swing icon for the game and reworking the cyclops statue still hanging around inside my computer. Still alot of refining and muscle definition to do but it’s taking shape.

Man-At-Arms, this piece is till ongoing, I managed to retopologize the Falcon Helmet, my own redesign inspired and influenced by infantry men-at-arms in 1400's (i.e Agincourt) and Roman legion armour. The body armour is still based on the original He-Man cartoon and recent comics. The suit was partly inspired by Boba Fett’s, Star Wars with gadgets but my design is AI voice activated (similar to Iron Man) which can protect the wearer from explosions, gunfire, chemical biological warfare, nuclear fallout and inhospitable terrain. In the backpack is the power source for the internal computer, the suit, and weapons like the mace fitted in the backpack. I plan to detail the face further with skin pores, eyelashes and facial hair. All the work was carried out in ZBrush and Blender.

This is the recent update for the 3D Camil Chameleon model. I went back into the model to redo and adjust some items, improve textures and render again to give a more polished and striking look to the work. Go to the main page and view the movie and images from there.

Detailing and adding realism to the face sculpt of Man-At-Arms using James Franco as reference. It’s going well but some areas need attention like the ears, neck and fibre mesh for the hair, eyebrows and stubble.

Having GEEK success in Dreamland. Now its Insomnia 61 with four days of high energy Chameleon Swing fun at the NEC, Birmingham.

We had interest from across the board from indie developers, gamers, families, teens and our target audience kids, 6-13 years (possibly one’s that play Minecraft constantly and want a break) Kids pick up Chameleon Swing quick and fast! And once players “got it”, they wanted to master the tongue swinging mechanic (no easy feat!) and the better they got the more addicted they became until they died to the infamous spiky trees for the 50th time! Ahhhhh! I’m so irritated with this game but I’m determined to get the highest score – just one more go!

Hi All! Here is an outline of myself (how I’m feeling!) and undertaking Cory Huff’s art course, The Abundant Artist – lets see what happens (gulp!)

My name is Kier Eyles and I’m an artist based in the UK. I have the background and techniques in drawing, fine art, live art, filmmaking, 2D & 3D animation and game art, but now I need to promote, market and sell biro drawings effectively. I’m a bit of a hybrid artist with my attention currently focused on Chameleon Swing, a 2D mobile game drawn in biros and playable for the Android (www.firetwin.com + www.kiereyles.com ), and a 3D digital sculptor using Blender and ZBrush.

But the Work I find the most enjoyable, uneasy and more difficult to share with others is my fine art biro drawings – this is the work I would like to brand, promote and sell. Currently I have no sales at the moment because I have this question, who would buy it? It’s possibly too personal, weird and strange (or people call too stylised?) so finding my market and selling would be a huge plus!

I’ve started to create a new body of biro work, 8 pieces focused on the human form both mental and physical which I’m hoping to submit 3 for the Jerwood Drawing Prize in June, but also I want to sell, brand and promote the work

This is to explore film language for a cinematic idea – OK this is a personal animatic/storyboard piece to tie the characters together, Man-At-Arm (the good guy) and Modulok (the evil alien) part of the Master of the Universe story.
